Imagine Taking Off Your Hat and Still Loving Your Hair

The BOLLIDE Silk-Lined Hat

The Part of Your Hat Most Women Never Think to Check

It stays against your hair for hours.

The part of a hat most women never inspect.

When you buy a hat, you notice its color, shape, fit, and logo.

The lining receives far less attention, even though it remains against your hair for the entire time you wear it.

With every step and adjustment, the crown and sweatband move across your roots, hairline, and part.

What those surfaces are made from is the detail most hats never explain.

Turn a Regular Hat Inside Out

Run your fingers across the crown and sweatband.

Often, the lining is cotton.

Most hats focus on the outside. BOLLIDE rebuilt the surfaces your hair actually touches.

Cotton can grip and snag strands as they move. It absorbs natural oils and creates repeated damage against your hair with every small movement of your head.

The baby hairs along your hairline can take the worst of it. These fine strands are too short to lie flat and delicate enough to be stressed by hours against a rough cotton sweatband. Over time, that repeated rubbing can affect the exact hairs that frame your face and become the direct cause of premature thinning.

It may not be a bad hair day. It may be the hat.

“The hat that finishes the look should leave you loving your hair when it comes off.”

What BOLLIDE Puts Against Your Hair

Mulberry silk lines the crown, the sweatband, and every surface your hair touches. It is the same material hairstylists recommend for pillowcases, for the same reason.

Silk creates less friction and absorbs less than cotton. Hair can move more freely, helping reduce the tugging and drying that regular hats can create.

After hours of wear, the lining helps reduce creasing, flatness, repeated tugging, and damage to the hair you styled before the hat went on.

“Take off your hat. Still love your hair.”

Made for the Hat You Reach for Every Day

The hat may stay on from the moment you leave until the moment you get home. The entire time, your hair rests against mulberry silk at every interior contact point.

The low-profile silhouette and small embroidered logo make it easy to wear throughout the day. It belongs by the door, ready whenever you are.

Origin story

New York, 2022.

Before BOLLIDE was a product, it was a hat someone made for the woman he loved.

Alissa was losing her hair from stress and started canceling dates with the man she'd later marry.

When he realized why she kept pulling away, he cut up his own silk pillowcase and sewed the lining into a Boston Red Sox hat.

He didn't care what she looked like. He just wanted to see her smile.

The hat didn't fix everything. But for the first time, the thing she put on to leave the house wasn't working against the hair she was trying to protect.

They're married now.

BOLLIDE is what that first hat became: The Silk-Lined Hat, purpose-built with mulberry silk where hair touches the cap, and Performance suede on the outside so it looks as considered as it feels.

Keep What's Yours.
