Why This Exists
I didn't set out to start a hat company. I started BOLLIDE because I watched my wife struggle to find a hat that didn't damage her hair.
Every "luxury" hat we bought had the same flaw: a rough cotton sweatband that caused friction, breakage, and frizz. It didn't matter if the hat cost $50 or $500 the inside was always the same.

I have spent a lot of money on hats. Ralph Lauren, Loro Piana, Isabel Marant. The exteriors on those hats are beautiful. The interiors are all the same: cotton. The BOLLIDE exterior is as good as anything I own from those brands. The interior is better than all of them. It is the first hat I have bought that has been thought all the way through.

I understand why the silver ions matter. I work in textiles. Silver ions at the fiber level are not a surface application that washes off. They are woven into the structure of the silk.
